Investor Education

InvestorsTo ensure a safe and informed investment experience, please adhere to the following guidelines:

• Payment Instructions: All payments from clients to the Securities Broker or Portfolio Management Company (PCM) should be made in the name of the respective entity. Payments must be processed through “A/c Payee Only” crossed cheques, bank drafts, pay orders, or other banking channels only.
• Custody of Securities: The Trading Only Securities Broker does not receive or make payments to clients whose securities custody is maintained with PCM or Trading and Clearing Securities Brokers. Such clients must receive and make payments only from/to PCM or Trading and Clearing Securities Brokers.
• Updating Information: Any changes in email addresses, mobile numbers, office phone numbers, mailing addresses, registered, or permanent addresses must be communicated to the Broker immediately.

Financial Literacy Initiatives

Understanding the financial market is crucial for all investors. The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has recognized the importance of investor education and initiated an investor education program named ‘Jamapunji’.

Objectives of Jamapunji:

• Equip the public with the skills and knowledge necessary to make informed financial decisions and manage their finances wisely.
• Improve financial literacy across various segments of society by providing knowledge about financial markets and products.
• Promote understanding of fundamental financial concepts, including banking, insurance, investing, retirement planning, and effective money management.
• Educate investors on risk mitigation strategies associated with various investment products, thus fostering investor confidence and leading to a robust investor protection regime.
